Park Haven Garden Village is just a 5-minute drive to Mackay CBD or the airport, with a bus stop at our doorstep and a short stroll to a large convenience store. Park Haven is also the closest retirement village to the CBD on the southern side of the Pioneer River.

" Quiet lifestyle with freedom to travel or just relax at home. Everyone in the village is around the same age. A bus stop is nearby, and the village is an easy drive to shopping centres and to the CBD. People in the village are pretty friendly and we've formed some lovely new friendships here. The houses are comfortable and strong. They are easy to maintain, and we enjoy our small garden. On-site village managers are approachable and polite. They ensure the common areas are always maintained."

" I came to Park Haven in 2012 with my late wife. The Park Haven Gardens provide a welcoming entrance along the internal roads. We have a
communal vegetable garden for all to use. The lawns are mowed by a contractor and provide a welcome relief to cement. Bocce is played on the back lawn, and activities are available inside our community room, which we call the Hibiscus Room. We have an extensive library, puzzles, and an in-ground swimming pool. Every month, we have a sausage sizzle with a small charge per sausage. The units are made of brick veneer, and they all have a carport attached. I have a lovely one-bedroom unit with a built-in wardrobe
that has enough room for a queen-size bed. There is a small kitchen with
cupboards, an electric stove, and ample electric outlets. The unit comes with a
lovely bathroom with a shower and toilet. My unit has a small front garden
where I am able to display all of my pot plants. The village is fenced and
dog-friendly for pets weighing 10 kgs and under."
